She graduated from the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague with professors C. Bouda, K. Lidický and K. Endrýs. The author has been one of the renowned personalities of our art scene for many decades. Her artistic versatility goes from oil painting and watercolor, through drawing and graphics (mostly color lithographs). In her works, Z. Burgetová thematically affects love, feeling, tenderness, dreaming and fragility. Its dominant symbols are trees and flowers, which it connects with girls' portraits. By this connection, it gives the paintings a special dimension reflecting their own inner mood and the state of the soul. The author has held over 40 solo exhibitions (Japan, USA, Cuba, Germany, Austria). Although the work of this artist does not contain Ex libris, her yearbooks and free graphics can be seen regularly at exhibitions, galleries and exchange events.
