Zdeněk Burian Michael Francis

Kopřivnice February 11, 1905 - July 1, 1981 in Prague

Czech painter and illustrator of adventure books, famous mainly for its painterly reconstruction of prehistoric fauna and saunas ( in collaboration with Professor Josef Augusta ) .

He exhibited in the Exhibition Hall Manes , Vaclav Spala Gallery, or in r . 2005 Prague Castle Riding Hall.

After Zdenek Burian was named an asteroid no. 7867 , discovered in September 20, 1984 by A. Mrkos .
