Czech painter, graphic artist and illustrator, author of the graphic design of Czech banknotes, president of the Hollar group.
He was born on February 26, 1940 in Prague, and died on January 28, 2013. Oldřich Kulhánek graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague under the leadership of Professor Svolinsky and then he realized his first exhibition at the Young Gallery in Prague in 1968. His most famous works include figurative lithographs, often with erotic motifs or with separate torsos of human bodies. Apart from his artistic graphics and illustrations, he also became the author of the Czech banknotes and several stamps.
