Katarina Vavrová was born on August 23, 1964. She graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Bratislava and a graphic specialty under the guidance of professor Brunovský at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava.
Now she focuses mainly on free graphics, ex libris and free painting, using imaginative and surreal themes. During her career, she received international awards from Tokyo, Ankara or Beijing.
