He studied high school in Hungary and than painting in Vienna and in Munich.

The artist painted mainly figural composition and landscapes.

Since 1912 his works have been on display several times in exhibition in the Art Gallery and in the National Saloon, Budapest. 

He loved plein air painting. There are elements of former Barbizon School in his work.
