He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and in 1989 emigrated to Switzerland.

He initially worked as an illustrator and restorer.

He liked the Maremma region in southern Tuscany and created the most important collections of pigment drawings and paintings, photographs and film.

He uses various techniques: drawing, watercolor, photography, earth pigments, mezzotin, screen printing and film.

His work shows intellectual depth beyond the themes of the present.
