Irena Jůzová (1965) is a Czech sculptor. In the years 1980–1984 she studied promotional exhibitions at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Brno. In the years 1987–1989 she studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in the studio of book culture and writing with prof. Jana Solpery. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, graphics studio prof. Ladislav Čepelák (1989–1990) and the School of Monumental Art prof. Aleš Veselý (1990–1994). From 1995 to 2006, she worked as an assistant professor at the same school. In 2008 she defended her habilitation in the field of Fine Arts - Intermedia Creation and was appointed associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Since 2014, she has been the rector of the ART & DESIGN INSTITUTE, where she also runs the Intermedia Studio.
