Hodonský František

A significant Czech abstract painter and graphic artist.

He was born on 19 February 1945 in Moravian Písek. After graduating from the Arts and Crafts School in Uherské Hradiště under Professor Hofman, he graduated from the Prague Academy of Fine Arts in the atelier of F. Jiroudka. His work is inspired by the nature, especially the water and forests. A significant role in his abstract paintings, drawings and sculptures, have the usage of colors, light and shadow.
